Nina Dobrev is on the mend following a serious bike accident that left her with multiple injuries.
On Monday, Dobrev took to Instagram to post a series of images showing the aftermath of the crash. In a post captioned “how it started vs how it’s going,” she shared a photo of herself on a motorized bike Nina Dobrev before the accident, followed by a picture of her in a hospital bed, wearing a neck brace, a splint on her left leg, and sporting several scrapes.
In her Instagram story, the “Vampire Diaries” star provided Nina Dobrev another glimpse from her hospital bed and a message to her fans, saying, “I’m okay but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead.”

It seems her boyfriend of four years, Olympian Shaun White, wasn’t present at the time of the incident. However, the couple has certainly faced their share of high-adrenaline activities together.
Last December, they joined Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and other friends for a skiing trip in Aspen, Colorado. Additionally, a source told Entertainment Tonight in August 2022 that Dobrev and White were contemplating the ultimate adventure: marriage.

Dobrev’s boyfriend, Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, added a light-hearted comment on her post.
“Just keeping things on brand,” he wrote, along with a heart emoji.
White recently told Us Weekly that he and Dobrev have been traveling internationally since his retirement from competition in 2022. They were planning to attend the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris, though it’s uncertain if Dobrev’s injuries will affect those plans.
